incontinent to continent urostomy

hello everyone,

I am looking to talk with someone who has had an incontinent urostomy for some years. I have had my incontinent urostomy for 27yrs with no issues what so ever. Now i am looking at going continent. What i would like to know is has anyone gone thru this and how happy are they with their decission. My only real concern is the accutal draining of the neo-bladder. How often do infection occure. What type of supplies do you carry? In the long run was it worth making the switch?
