So I have irrigating for 1 week now. Haven't had to wipe the floor since day 3, success. Finding a rhythm. Learning my body cues. I know nothing is off limits here, but... I can tell when my lunch has gone through, often don't see day prior supper. That might be what is leading to still have output around bedtime. Instead of liquid more firm. Stopped Miralax per WOCN, is this advisable? I do an infusion of about 750cc, wait 20 minutes or so, then infuse another 500cc. Next output takes a little longer, that is why I have been showering with the sleeve on, this not only saves some morning, got to get to work time, but also the brushing of my teeth and the warm shower water seems to haver helped get a little more output out.
Thinking of ordering a tapeless faceplate. Also want to trial a mini bag or cap. Not sure I'm quite ready for either but want to have them in the house for a weekend trial in the future.
I have an obstacle race next weekend, 8 miles of fun. Mud, water, terrain, and probably blood sweat and tears. As long as poop isn't included I will be one happy girl LOL
Well thanks for listening again.

Re: 1 week in
Hi Sue
You and heaven know that I am just a newbie too, but I was thinking you might want to play with the infusion amounts to see if that changes your results. I know I started with smaller volumes but now do two infusions of 1000cc each about 20 minutes apart. That's what seems to work for me. Just a thought.

Hey Sue,
I agree with Lisa's advice. You may not be infusing enough to allow or force all the water and output out of your system, thereby leaving just enough behind that you end up with late returns. Irrigation in the early days, is allot of trial and error. It can take some time to find the correct amounts to infuse and a few little tricks along the way that work best for you. It took me literally 5 months before I was fairly consistent and comfortable with my routine.
You're on the right track. Good luck with the obstacle race. Relax and enjoy!
