Probiotics

I am new here and not sure this is the right place for me to post, but thought I would try. I had a colectomy 3 years ago. I do not have to wear a bag, but with no large intestine my life has changed. I noticed things getting a bit better 6 months post surgery then again at 2 years post surgery. I started taking probiotics which do seem to help. I was wondering if anyone else takes them and what brands they have felt are best?
