Ongoing abscesses 9 months after illeostomy reversal

Has anyone else had these issues? My husband is about on his last straw with dealing with this. He has continuous incision leak issues that turn into fistulas and tears in the intestines that will not heal! He is about to go through surgery for the 5th time to repair leaks before the illeostomy can be reversed. Anybody with similar issues we would love to have some feedback.
