Hi everyone.
I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a good resource for moral support and encouragement for ostomates. I had an emergency colostomy a couple of weeks ago, and I am having a lot of trouble getting used to it - but living in a remote area there is really no one I can talk to about it. The forums are helpful, but sometimes I feel that I would like something more interactive and immediate when I hit an emotional low point.
Has anyone found anything that works well for them?

If you go to this url, you can do a search by zip code to possibly find a support group in your area.

Re: Online Support Groups?
Thank you for the information. It looks like there aren't any support groups near me, but I will try the Facebook group. Cheers!
