Karen, I think about you and pray for you every day. Again, you gave me so much support and information, which I'm still using to this day. I wish you a peaceful and painless journey, knowing that you are not forgotten, and this forum is just not the same without you.

My prayers are with you and your family. Lots of hugs.

Karen,

We've mentioned my mother who is 102. It's agonizing for a good mother to watch helplessly and accept circumstances when offsprig are in pain or worse. I understand your concern for her and also believe that caring for yourself now is beyond necessary.

You've always been such a smart and compassionate woman to all. Now's the time to direct that care inward. Yes, we've been thinking of you, continue to do so, and are with you in spirit. If a miracle can shower itself on you now, may that occur although your road has been so challenging. Praying that the pain is under control as well as all other uncomfortable symptoms over the upcoming days or weeks. Sending peace.

Namaste,

Diane

I don't go on this site as much as I should. Is Karen/Button still in hospice? We used to message each other a lot. Sorry that she is going thru this. Any word about how she is doing?

I feel the same. I know she was active on other sites. I think of her so often. If anyone hears anything, I hope a post will inform us. Wherever she is, I hope there is no pain. When she had to give up her dog, that really affected her. Any pet that she owned would be a very lucky animal.

I haven’t been on the site here in a very long time and didn’t know that Karen had gotten so terribly ill.

Does anyone have any updates?

A couple years ago I went to Portland and visited Karen. Such a delightful person. I met her mom and step father as well while there.

Karen, if you see this, please know that I surely miss our conversations and appreciate your friendship.
