A question I'd like to know how to find out more information about...my wife is a UC patient with an ostomy from 1995. If we wanted to live outside the US, how do we find out processes needed in any particular country to obtain supplies? We are considering retirement outside the US, but obviously, learning how to navigate any countries' medical system is something we'd need to know before settling somewhere.
How would we go about this task?

What vendors products does she primarily use? I would reach out to that manufacturer and find out what suppliers they have in specific countries you are looking at.

You might not be eligible for another country's medical system either....another thing to look into.

Exactly why I'm asking. I have to think people out there have had to deal with this.
