Re: Underwear
I wear normal underwear. In fact, all of my clothes are unaltered. I do wear an abdominal binder, so I buy pants with a bigger than measured waist line to accommodate for that, but otherwise, yes, all of my clothes are "normal". That said, my stoma is above my waistline, so no real issues concerning the style of under wear that I wear.
Hope that helps.

Re: Underwear
Hey Tammy,
Normal Boxer briefs for me. I wear my pouch over top of my underwear with a belly band covering the pouch, and It's all tucked inside my pants. My stoma is also above the waist line. Beyond the band all my clothes are normal.
Best,
Murph

Re: Underwear
Tighty-whities worn here. Ostomy is above the waist line. I tuck my bag inside the pants line but on the outside of the underwear. I also try to wear a pants size a little larger than my actual waistline size to allow for extra space for drainage. I also periodically place an ace bandage inside my belt line beside the bag to ensure that the bag isn't being pinched which is really helpful in getting more flow into the bag.
Thanks!

Boxers Here; Stoma below the waistline. I wear normal clothes.
Re: Underwear
Excellent question! I still wear mostly sport briefs, which are tight and supportive, although I also occasionally wear Ostomy Secrets briefs:

The bottom line: I never have to worry about a woman seeing my underwear because this wretched ostomy has decimated any possibility of ever being in a romantic relationship!

Re: Underwear
I wear boxers as they are roomier for the pouch, and the waist band rides over the top edge of the wafer so no constriction of the stoma.
