Benefiber Use to Lower Cholesterol

I have CIR and elevated cholesterol. My physician wants me to use benefiber to lower my cholesterol. Is this safe for me to do?

According to what i read it does as your Dr. said...I'd not think your Dr. would tell you to do that unless it was safe...I'm sure he gave instructions and if not be sure to ask for the amount you should take..
