ileostomy and gastroparesis

Post by solsvr13 »

My father, who is 92 years young, has had a ileostomy for 50 years and has managed very well. Unfortunately about 5 years ago, he was also diagnosed with gastroparesis. This condition has really taken a toll on him and highly effected his quality of life the last couple of years. Since this seems to be a relatively rare condition, as his caregiver I am always searching for any avenue of helpful information. I would like to communicate with someone who has the same type of physical condition. Thank you

I have both of these. I might be able to offer some input, maybe.
