chronic runny stools

i have had a ileostomy for over 40 years. i have diarrhea now for 5 weeks. dr is confused. any suggestion on how to control. :?:

Have you tried any over the counter antidiarrhea meds?
Diagnosed with Crohns in 2002. Ileostomy (7-24-14)

What type of doctor? One familiar with an ileostomy? Has he/she taken any tests to try to diagnose your issue? Any new meds?
imo a confused doctor is not going to be my doctor.....
Ileostomy due to UC - 50 odd years
