Anyone have experience with multiple hernia repairs. I recently had elective hip surgery, post-surgical nausea so they did a contrast CT. Found that my parastomal hernia was "an accident waiting to happen". Loops of small bowel incarcerated. So I had a revision of ostomy. They relocated it a little higher up.
My question is: Anyone else with stoma & colostomy located at the level of navel? Seems that I still have nausea emanating from the area. My system is working, thankfully, but whenever I do have output it is accompanied by waves of nausea. In between times I have mild nausea...just enough to make me feel slightly unwell. I do have a small seroma that keeps refilling at the navel.
Anyone with experience in mid-abdominal colostomy placement please send some suggestions.

Re: Parastomal hernia repair
My stoma is level with my navel, not a particular problem.
