Corn solutions?

Post by ileo73 »

This one is silly

My wife and I use Blue Apron for their recipe kits. Usually good and tasty stuff. I just let my wife know, since she orders, what doesn’t play well with my ileo.

One of those problems is corn. I’m fine with corn meal and such, I like corn bread, corn chips, etc, but the kernels fill up my pouch.

Well, two of this week’s three kits feature corn straight off the ear.

I picked up creamed corn thinking that should go smoother but she doesn’t like it as a potential substitute. Any ideas?

Corn on the cob is one of the highlights of summer for me, and it doesn’t give my ileo any problems. You might puréing some creamed corn and see how you tolerate it.

Take care,

When on the cob, I will use a knife to slice the kernels. I go across the row. a serated knife seems to work best. then dress as you like (butter, salt, etc). enjoy!
