I had emergency surgery for a perforated colon back in 2022. A year later I had the reversal surgery. It went well. About 6 months later I started experiencing nausea and gas and bloating. It came and went for months. Finally at the recommendation of my surgeon I had bloodwork done and a CT scan. Everything looked good. The nausea continues. Just recently I had an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. It showed gastritis in my stomach. However I am still having nausea, at least two days a week. Sometimes more. I am curious if anyone else has experienced this long term side effect of the surgery ? It’s been a year now. And feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you.
