I've had an ileostomy for 35 years. Starting 3 weeks ago, I noticed some of the veins surrounding my stoma have darkened in color (to nearly black) and are radiating out. There is no soreness. (I don't think it's blood poisoning of any kind.) I am getting ready to have a biopsy on my liver for potential cancer so that could be a contributing factor.
Has anyone had any ever had/known of this sort of issue?
Thank-you.
