looking for a support group for new patient that is having difficulty dealing with a temporary ostomy. Is there such thing with this organization or elsewhere on the internet.
By the way, i love the idea that i can donate all of the unused supplies to other patients... Will certainly sign up for this once i have my reversal and there is no need for any supplies anymore.

Re: searching for support group
Check on the main page of this site in the menu selections for local support groups in your area.
Reddit/otosmy seems to be a high volume otosmy traffic web site. So you might get some advice there.
.
Unfortunately not a lot of people want to deal with the depressive issue of otosmy's, in fact a lot of nurses I've talked to don't like doing wound care. I can't blame them I'm sick of dealing with my own problem. I'm having a hard time finding someone to help me when I'm in frail mode.
The only solution seems to be ones own self caretaker unfortunately and learning, learning, learning.
