Since Coloplast abandoned us and discontinued the stoma plug with no alternative, what are the options for those of us who irrigate and want a very discreet and small stoma cap?
I am getting towards the end of my supply of Coloplast plugs so now searching for alternatives. I know no other brands do plugs, so what is the smallest stoma cap currently on the market? The smallest? Flattest? Most discreet?
Thanks. And nice to meet you all.

Re: Stoma plugs /caps
I have never used a stoma plug but have used makeshift home made stoma caps for at least 15 years. I remember being very disapponted when Hollister abandoned their flange stoma cap project. Hollister does still have a stand alone stoma cap, product #3186. They are fairly large but reasonably flat.
I over irrigate on a 2 day schedule so I do not get any returns (normally) in the interim. With that all I needed was folded toilet paper over the stoma and 3" micropore tape to hold it in place. This was satisfactory for many years. It will hold small amounts of occasional unscheduled returns long enought to get to a place to clear it. Of course alway keep an emergency kit in a pocket when away from home. Might have had maybe 4 or 5 accidents over the last 20 years.
Eventually late fluid returns became a problem (due to excessive irrigation infusions). So now I normally wear a regular flange with snap ring from a pouch with a section of nylon fabric holding the TP in place over the stoma. It is slightly more evident then the tape solution only but still much less than an pouch. This has saved me thousands of dollars over the last 15 years.
I irrigate in the evening and wear a belted pouch over night. I have to empty the pouch (due to excessive irrigation fluid) at night maybe 20% of the time.
