I have always leaked a little bit at times, which was no big deal since I keep it covered, but it has been leaking much, much more than usual for almost a year now. I was going to have it scoped and then my insurance changed so now I need to wait till my deductible is met before I get it done. Has anyone else had this problem as far as leaking? It does not leak everyday, just some days and I hate it when it happens at work, as I work with the public in sales. I always wear tops that cover that area so if I do leak it is concealed. I am just feeling frustrated. Thanks, Judith
If you "leak" you should try irrigating this helps alot. if this does not help. talk to your doctor about the possibility of maybe have a stone. I had one and "leaked" constantly. My surgeon surgically removed it and no more problems.

I finally found out why I am leaking. I was scoped and it turns out that I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) in my pouch. :( I am trying different meds for it. What is happening is that when my pouch get full or semi full it goes into spasms and then it leaks. Of course when I have an infection the leaking gets worse. As for irrigating it just sets it into more spasms so I can not irrigate. Still I am glad I now know why it does it, and even though I have this to deal with, I would not trade my pouch for anything!
