scripps memorial hospital

Post by dmarie »

hi...i had a koch pouch revision done at scripps memorial hospital in la jolla, california...dr. dana launer was great....an ostomy nurse showed up every day, a mentor nurse showed up every day, the charge nurse showed up every day....the pain management was great, basically a non-narcotic...had my surgery on may 29th, went home on june 2nd.
never needed any further pain meds....i'm back to work, walking a mile a day...i'm 57 years old..so i was pretty tired from the surgery, but other than that....life is great...soooo, if anyone in the southern california area ever needs a doc...dr. launer is great...besides that, san diego is a beautiful setting...

A friend of mine who was a patient of Dr. Launer's tried to convince me to go to him instead of Fazio. Two reasons 1: she loves Launer and 2: La Jolla is much more pleasant than Cleveland.

So glad surgery went well and you are back to the normal grind of the week.
