I get the feeling that we`re the only South Africans posting on any boards!
Wish we had a local board so that we could organise a meet and greet!

I asked my stoma nurse if she would pass the word around about the boards and especially the chat room that has helped me so much. Shaz's Ostomy board. But she was not interested and wouldnt give me anyones details - patient confidentiality. I think its a bit ridiculous cos the doctors and stoma nurses can only do so much and you really learn from other people who already 'got the T-shirt". if you can, do come chat one evening around 9./ 10
