Diane: So very glad you have tried the Sure Seals. They were a bit tricky for me to use at first due to aging fingers, but I developed a system which includes tearing the backing paper during application & folding down a corner of the film to aid in later removal.
Have you seen the new Summer edition of The Phoenix? Ostomy News & Products page 33 has info on a leak absorbing barrier. It's made by Ostomy Armor. Perhaps another option to explore.
Always good to see your posts. Hope Mother's Day went well for you & yours.

I hAve ileostomy with high output and something that has really helped control leaks and increase wear time is switching from the standard size brava barrier strips to the XL size. Prod# is 12076. They are twice as wide as the standard size and as I say they have really made a difference for me.

I use tincture of opium to slow and thicken my output. I’m supposed to take it 3 times a day but can only manage 1-2 times as it makes me so sleepy. It works pretty well for me where as the antidiarrheal meds do not do a thing.

I apologize for my erratic "attendance" on this board. Helping my 103-year old mother with caregivers is taking up MUCH time. She refused to move to Assisted Living and is staying in Independent living under the condition that she receives 24/7 care. Do you KNOW how costly that is? Ouch. I'm still visiting, buying supplies, purchasing groceries and it's very sad to see my mom go downhill. My brother and his wife are in Nevada so candidly, not much help... One day, I'm really going to miss her. So special.

Anyway, To Dream, I do like those Sure Seals so bravo to the swimmers and divers who mentioned them! Next time will order a size Large. They just fit around my 3/4" barrier. Glad I returned here as I meant to look up the Hollister high output pouches and couldn't find anything larger than 12". I do like Hollister and Convatec but not Coloplast's high output pouches because of the "barrier" piece of plastic inside.

And thanks for telling me re Phoenix Magazine. I do have the summer issue so will look up the info there. Something went awry with my subscription when I donated and I have to fix that... among many things!

Hope everyone is staying SAFE!
