I haven't been able to get the vaccine yet although I registered in several places (my number in one line is greater than 138,000th) and I'm in group 1a as I work in healthcare/home health! Most of the hubs in my area just don't have any more doses and are waiting for new deliveries. I appreciate hearing from those of you who have managed to get it -it helps to know what to expect regarding side effects etc. Here's hoping the organization of the distribution improves.

Bob, Glad you were vaccinated. The State of VA has pulled back. Waiting and contacted my Rep on the Hill as I have moderate asthma. Have heard of similar side effects. Hope quarantining is over and you're doing ok. We can have a lottery up here to get a hold of your antibodies! Everyone, keep taking Vitamins D, C, zinc (unless your stomach dislikes it), maybe tumeric and other healthy supplements. Hoping for the vaccine soon -- for all who want it and I do encourage it.

I'm in NYC and got my first shot yesterday. My upper arm started feeling sore in the evening and I felt a bit uncomfortable in bed but now the afternoon of the next day it barely aches at all. Second shot scheduled in three weeks.

Had my second shot last Thursday. Pretty much the same side effects as the first one. Low grade fever, fatigue, body aches. Took Tylenol and muscled through. Wasn't easy, but not the worst thing I've ever endured either. Felt fine after about 36 hours. Going to keep moving forward!
