Karly I'm sorry to hear you had some pain with them, I haven't heard of anyone having that before. It's not really any different than having a cath in, just not as long and softer. But I wondered if maybe it is to do with the length? When you cath how far are you able to put the cath in? I think most people can put them in further but Anna's only goes in about 60mm which is the length of the plug, she must have something in the way. So I wondered if that was the problem, because it is possible to get shorter plugs, not mine (though maybe they could be trimmed down lol) but the UK ones come in a shorter length as well.

I put my cath in a lot farther than the said nec, but I don't feel like it's in good if I don't put it in as far as I do. I feel like it's going to come out when i start the flow if i don't put it in as far (which it has) That may be part of the problem is that it's not that long??? I'm not sure.
