It was a difficult decision, but I am not going to make it to Philadelphia for the conference. I can’t fly because my issues with short bowel would be unmanageable on a plane due to my disability. I had always intended to drive but I’m just not ready for that kind of a trip. I’m still getting macro and micro nutrients sorted out and require monthly iron infusions. When the gang gets together in Philly please call me! One life changing side effect of all this craziness is I’ve lost about 120 lbs. I will miss you all but I’ll be at the gathering in 2021 wherever it is!

Hi Everyone, I am all booked for my first convention and am looking forward to meeting many of you in person! Jimbob, thank you for all the info. I looked into the transportation link you posted for a ride to and from the airport, from the Phil 201 hotel. With the discount its $25 each way and it looks like its about 20 minutes away. Does that sound right to you? Do you have a meet up planned? Did you get a 20's costume!!!!!

Two weeks ago I was in Philly and took the shuttle to the hotel, $25.00 is the price I paid and you are right it is about a 20 to 25 minute trip. On Tuesday evening there will be a Presidents Reception which is always a great place to meet and greet people. Identify yourself to me and I will see that you are introduced to some really great people. Trust me, you will have a great time. I am still pondering a twenties costume.
