Karen, you are absolutely right. I am trying to establish a routine of some exercise (some of the ones you mentioned) and an outing every day to either the park, or the beach, ( live by the water) and then when back home, doing some projects there, and it does feel better, as when I'm busy I'm not thinking of all that I went through. I feel for you being in the hospital for over 60 days, I was there, for a little more than 30, and it certainly was enough.

I'm lucky that I have a husband who's an angel. Was and is with me for everything, and I mean, everything, so he holds me up when I'm feeling low and so forth. So, that counts for a lot, as do these discussion right here on this board. Its also true that everyone heals in different ways and their own time, and I realize that.

Again, thank you and have a good day..........................paula

Hello there, just wanted to keep everyone posted on this thread that helped me with my new ileostomy. I am doing better and are able to empty the bag now without problems. However, of course, I still don't like it and the output seems to be as much as ever. I'm taking Imodium sometimes, but it doesn't seem to help much. Anyway, just wanted to thank everyone, once again. I just read Karen's latest post, and was so sorry to hear of her latest hospitalization. She is an inspiration . Praying going out to her.

Hope everyone is doing well......................paula

Hahaha.
I like mine because it gave me a life back.
Living the way I was was not living a life.
It was miserable. Your gi is wrong.
