AVATARS!

GO CRAZY! For now... Lets see how this works out. Lets get our avatars up so we all know who we are. Its nice to put a face to a name! Miraculously, I am tatered, yet again. So this post might come out wrong. Anyway, as Bob says, make sure the picture is no larger than 80x80 pixels. Believe me, I tried uploading one that was bigger! It was a no go! OK, you all have an awesome night, as I have... Keep on bagg'n! Out.

I didn't think all night - more like all day (slight exaggeration)! I have been cropping, trimming, compressing, altering dimensions and - ended up with one rather smaller than I intended. Still, that's the problem of trying to reduce a very hi res image!
However, it is the latest picture of yours truly, taken in our garden by our local paper as part of National Gut Week when my story (or rtather, just the digestive system part of it) was featured in the local paper to encourage people to see their doctor before it is too late.

What a pain to find a pic to use. Want to get a pic of my bike, I but could not get it small enough to be accepted.

I am testing to see if my avatar is working.
It appears to be working - this has taken me ages as it was .04 too big and the smaller ones I downloaded were .wmf files not .gif files.
Oy!
But thanks, Bob, for enabling this function

Microsoft Photo Editor

You can use Microsoft Photo Editor, which I would assume many of you already have. It is really easy! I guarantee! Just ballpark a "square" of picture, and highlight it with the "box" tool. Then I believe, you go to Tools/Resize, and it gives you options. The best is to change the scale to pixels, then you can change the width, and/or height to 80 pixels, and then Resize the picture! That was really easy for me. It took like 2 minutes! Have fun and keep on bagg'n!

That's how I got my cat small enough - I found one of those programs on my computer - but my cat used to wiggle before - I guess he's tired

Plus I think I cut a little of his ear off......maybe I'll try to redo it if I can remember what the heck I did.

Sorry your cat is dead....I think movment makes for a larger file....I looked at a few bike pics that made the bike look like it was moving and all jumped up in byts.
