If you have an ileostomy, how do you have enough time for you to absorb any nutrients? I take a lot of antioxidants, do they have time to be absorbed with an ostomy? I was told some time ago, that my villi did not form due to radiation and that is why I never had formed movements. so the way I see this is that I will still have all these problems!!?? Then I see and have heard that when you have diarrhea with the ostomy, that this causes it to break down quickly and leak. What is your experience with this? They told me that I could take fiber, immodium, etc. But if this didn't work before how would it work now?
