well gustav is barreling down on me and we have decided to ride it out. my wife and her parents are at my home in Lacombe La. and are hoping for the best. we are as prepared as you can get for a storm like this but if you guys don't mind i wish you would send a prayer of safety our way. thanks and i'll let ya'll know how we do.
ps my disability date is set for Nov. 12th

it's a little after seven in the morning and so far we have steady rain and about 30 mph winds. i'm sure it will get a little worse but far from as bad as predicted.

thank you guys for your thoughts and well wishes. we were without power for two days and have a lot of trees down but none of them hit our house. my in laws still don't have power and are staying with us. i love them but...... now we start the long process of cleaning up and helping neighbors. rikki
