I have an Indiana Pouch , What is the sure sign of an infection?

For me I get shaking chills, vomiting or extreme nausea, fever, the area around my pouch usually hurts as well as my stomach. My urine tends to smell awful as well and I see blood in it. Do get a urine culture done ASAP. I also tend to see more mucus in my urine than is usual. What are your symptoms?

I have a stomach ache that is located by my belly button and the urine is a strange smell.
I do go from very hot then getting very cold.

There is not an increase of mucus. Matter of fact, there is less.

almost all of us get an infection from time to time so you will learn your symptoms over time. now that you have a pouch though you need to do all you can to prevent infections. i am on a daily antibiotic to suppress infections and also drink plenty of fluids, including cranberry juice and D-Mannose every day. remember also to keep your hands as clean as possibe
