Wow is it just me or does this board now look A LOT like the Colon Club Board?! Same icons, same look?! Maybe same software now?

And for those that do not know, the Colon Club puts out the Colondar and also is a support board for Colo/Rectal Cancer Survivors like me, or caregivers or family!

eitter, its probably the same program. It looks identical to Ostomy Land too.

Okay, I'll be the different one (as usual!)

I had to hunt to logon but that was okay. My problem is that the font is a tad smaller and it hurts to read.

I was away from the board for a couple of weeks (lots and lots of dr appts) and wow! I was wondering if I was in the same place!

But good job to those who are working in keeping this site going. I'll get used to it eventually! I know this site has been a godsend for me!

If you go to the top of any page you will see an "A" on the far right of the top bar. On either side of that "A" you will see an up or down symbol. You can increaase or decrease the font size using that!

Somebody was really nice and emailed me about that. Yes, it's a very, very pale A up there on the right and I did increase the font size. Yeah!!!!!! I'm now a very happy camper and it doesn't hurt my eyes at all now.

The way many web pages can be resized is to hold down the CTRL key and press either + or -until the page is the optimum size for you. It saves hunting for that obscure A in the top corner. I forgot to say that it also works here! (I have just pressed CTRL ++ to get bigger text)

That's great information, Terry!

I never knew that and have been struggling with many sites. I found this small thing at the bottom right of the page that right now says 100%. I can make that larger but sometimes run into the trouble that the web page is now larger than the computer screen and have to scroll right and left to read it all.

But back to the original post, I've been looking around the site and it's really much nicer. Also I was told that there were directions. Directions? Uhmmm... I'm one of those people who never look at directions and try to figure it out myself. Only when I get totally exasperated and frustrated and mad do I get out the confound directions and actually READ them to figure out what to do.

Even if you didn't upgrade the site, it's still a wonderful place and I do value everyone here.
