Someone with a history of ulcerative colitis is in a major Golf channel elimination competition called "Big Break Prince Edward island"- though he is from the US and lives in Pennsylvania. This article doesn't say he has a continent diversion, but from the description he must have something like a J-pouch:

wonder if he just had a resection....he is lucky if he managed to get by with a resection...

not sure the media got all the details right.....but that is media for ya...

I can't imagine trying to play even 9 holes of golf with a resection and straight reconnect - there would have to be incredible sphincter control!!
