Notification email preferences

I think I don't have my control panel set right to get notification emails and am failing to figure out how to do that. Can someone direct me to the place, the link, to find that choice? Thank you....

Do you want to be notified when someone replies to a posting you placed or responded to? Look below the post before you click submit and the option "Notify me when a reply is posted" can be checked to recieve this notification.

Other forum software, vBulletin, for example, allows you to make a choice in the user CP, so it defaults to that.

You can do that here also. go to the User Profile. Then to Board Preferences, then to Edit Posting Defaults, then yes to notify me upon replies by default.
