Bladder Cancer Patient Forum on November 7th in San Francisco
The next stop for BCAN's "Understanding Bladder Cancer" regional patient forums is San Francisco on November 7th at the Mission Bay Conference Center at UCSF. This educational program is directed at patients, family members, and caregivers. Dr. Gary Steinberg, University of Chicago, and Dr. Peter Carroll, University of California San Francisco, are serving as faculty chairs. An expert panel of health care professionals who specialize in bladder cancer will give a complete overview of the disease, and there will be an opportunity for questions and answers. In addition, there will be an interactive discussion during lunch with a panel focusing on Survivorship Issues.
Joining Drs. Steinberg and Carroll in presenting are Dr. Joseph Presti and Dr. Sandy Srinivas from Stanford University; Dr. Fred Waldman, Dr. Michael Rabow, and Susan Barbour, RN, from the University of California San Francisco; and Dr. Theresa Koppie from the UC Davis School of Medicine and Medical Center.
This forum is now in the past but a report and slides can be viewed at http://www.bcan.org/san-francisco-patient-forum/.
