Question about Kpouch/BCIR

Post by Debbiedoo611 »

Does anyone know if they frown upon doing these surgeries on someone who is overweight?

Hi, it depends on how overweight someone is. I do know that typically surgeons prefer patients at an "ideal" weight prior to surgery. Obesity is a contraindication due to the high incidence of valve dysfunction.
