Anyone who has had a j pouch reversed to an ileostomy?

I am looking for anyone with a permanent ileostomy who used to have a jpouch and had alot of trouble with it (current l5 yr j pouch, lots of problems, 55 yr old female) thanks

I should add, maybe , that the main problems I am having are (probably) reactive arthritis (gout?), urethritis, vaginal infections, styes of mucous membranes, etc. basically an immune system reaction. I had alot of skin reactions with the ileostomy, but, does anyone with one have a similar story? Thank you!

Hi there,
I had J-pouch for 15 years with a vaginal fistula and constant pouchitis and eventually abscesses and fissures.
I had it excised and have had a permanent ileostomy for the last 9-1/2 years. I haven't needed to be on any medication, and after some trouble finding a system that worked for me I get 3 days of wear time and no skin irritation.
