What do you like most about it and hate about it? Please no sugar coating things. I want the real opinions. I don't need to hear the reading from a script message. lol. Thanks.

Likes:NO OUTSIDE BAG, no leaks, intimacy problems resolved, expensive supplies non-existant.

Dislikes:local hospitals and Doctors have to be educated about your physical make-up. Rumling of gas in pouch requires explanation at times.

Ray (ileostomy for 30 yrs, BCIR for 12 yrs)

Thanks Ray. Question about the gas noise. Is it like an ileostomy noise? That is one thing I hate about my ileostomy. When I am in class or in quiet situation it always seems to make noises.

Not an outward noise since the BCIR is continent, more like a very very rumbling stomach. Big deal vs the advantages of a pouch.
