Need Advice .

Hi All ,

I have recently got the Iry Pump by B.Braun but I'll talk about that in the Iry pump thread .Thing is , I have been irrigating for a while and now using this new pump has confirmed it - when I irrigate I am not emptying well .I get some stool and some water .The pump was used very effectively but I went that evening ,and then several times the next day .I used to able to get a good clear out and go over 24 hours .

What could be happening ? I can't have an obstruction as I am still filling up normal pouches .I just can't figure out why I am not emptying properly .Anyone got any ideas ? thanks !

A kink or adhesions making a narrow spot that traps some stool behind it?
Maybe try doing a second infusion after the first is done, to thin the remaining stool so it can pass more easily.

Thanks Lee .I have tried doing another infusion but will try with a bit warmer water and a higher speed to see if it helps at all
