Any spouses out there?

Hi everyone!
My husband just had a colostomy, and I was looking for some support from other spouses. We are on the 3 step surgical plan, so I know this year will be interesting.
- I have read a few threads regarding what is the best accessory to use for bag support etc- if you have any suggestions on that I would appreciate it! **BONUS- if your spouse is a dentist, what is the best bag, belt etc to use while working on patients?
- I am currently working on making a meal plan and preparing as much as possible in advance. Any advice on protein based foods (fish, poultry, meat)?
- Any other information/resources you might suggest?
