Any suggestions to tame the gas.

I had my reversal surgery in mid January. The incision is healing up nicely but I got a terrible case of diarrhea and spasms and gas. Does anyone have suggestions on how to tame both of these problems? I cannot take Imodium at this time, it causes me more pain. Any suggestions that may help this transition to go easier?
