If you reached Cornel's bird cams & navigate the listing at the top of the site, you will be able to see the redtailed hawks & barred owls nesting. An early sign of spring. Hoping this storm does no damage in your area, Tom. Be safe & God bless.

I love Cornel’s bird cameras. Thanks TDAD for reminding us of these.

The red-tails (hawks) have three eggs incubating. The barred owl site has an inside the nesting box camera & one outside as well.

That's wonderful! We've seen them around & yesterday one was fishing the adjacent ponds. Have been following the Cornell Barred owl cam & it is amazing to note the variety of prey brought to the owlets. Not just small mammals & unfortunately, song birds, but also fish & even crayfish. We visited Sapsucker Woods nature center on 4/23/18. Beautiful day.

The last of the three baby barred owlets fledged on Sunday (Cornell Cams). So glad to know they are all out of the nest box. We are feeding hummers (ruby-throated) & Baltimore orioles.

Baby red-tailed hawks (3) have all grown up & fledged (that was fast!) & are soaring about Cornell. Another chapter in the circle of life.

Hi Tom: Each year we raise a hatch or two of orioles with grape jelly, too. Love to see them at the feeder.

The little osprey on the Cornell live cam out in Montana has fledged. It is the first successful hatch for this pair of birds in three years.

Nor had I. Cornell's live bird cams are not only entertaining but informative. Hoping you are all safe & unaffected by the recent rains. Unbelievable. Our little corner of NE PA has been battered. Fortunately we are at higher elevation, our creek is part of its headwaters & so far the Superior Walls foundation & drainage system of our new home have held up despite the deluge. Were out today surveying the flood damage & checking on friends. Ground is still so saturated. And I only wish we could share some of this with our western states. Wishing you calm winds & safe seas.
God bless, Tom
