I had an ostomy a year ago. Supposed to be reversible but they wanted me to have my arteries cleaned out first, it will be a while. The last few months I keep getting a big urge to push like I’m have a bowel movement. Nothing comes out. Lately I have so much pressure it is hurting my old hemiroids. Last week I put on a glove and realized I have a large hard lump of poo I could not get out. I have been reading and think it is from the mucus that has built up and dried. Has anyone else had this happen? What did you do and what kind of doctor did you go to?

You can rinse that area just as if it still worked, i think most have mucus they pass and keeping it cleaned out would seem to be more healthy for our bodies..
