How do you know when you're done?

I sometimes think I'm done, but get more output later.
Sometimes I think there's more coming but it never shows up.
How do you tell when you're done?

For me, it's a "gut" feeling...pun intended!
There are times when I feel like I'm done, and then I get a surprise later. And, there are times when I think there is more coming, and get no returns until the next irrigation session.
I think consistency in routine is going to be your best bet. Early in the irrigation process, I found out what worked best and most consistently, and I have stuck with that routine. There are a myriad of different things that can have an effect on our output, like what we eat, if we're sick, medications, etc. Irrigation isn't perfect, but for me, it's better than the alternative...

Thanks, you pretty much summarized my experience. Though I used to time it; 20 minutes after the last output, I could shower and repouch. That worked...at least as well as what I'm doing now, quitting when I get bored.

Pretty much like a normal person except we do not have to sit on nasty toilet seats in a stadium at a football game.
