FYI Pouches turning orange

Post by bob1951 »

My pouches were turning orange and also odor coming through after only 1 or 2 days. I called Convatec and the nurse asked me if I take fish oil? I said yes and she said that could be the problem. I stopped taking it and no problems so far. It has been over a month.

I ran into trouble when taking Omega-type vitamins with bleeding on the stoma. Fortunately, it stopped after I discontinued their use. Now I eat kippers & so far have had no bleeding & just a slight change in odor.
