Colostomy reversal

Hi all, so glad to have found this group.
In October 2018, while on vacation in Montana,I had an abscess on my intestine which burst and blew a hole in my colon henceforth I ended up with a colostomy bag.
They went in through the abdomen not laparoscopic.
Two weeks ago March 5,2019 I had my reversal done and also had my ovaries and tubes removed due to some benign cysts. They opened me up through the same scar.
I am still having multiple bowel movements every 2 hours that are small and with clots of blood. Also have been having issues with sore & itchy rectum. Is this normal and how long will this go on until I get back to normal. I almost would prefer having the bag back at this point.
