diarrhea out of rectum help ilestomy.

guys I'm having diarrhea out of my rectum as well as my ilesttomy bag. why is it still coming out rectum. all the surgeon did was removed my colon. I still have my. rwhole rectum and anus. it coming out in large amounts in my rectum onto my depends. the surgeon said he might have to stitch the rectum closed.
