Hi, everyone!

Hi to all,

I’ve not been on here in a good while. Just posted on the general discussion and thought of you all here in this topic area. I wanted to say thank you to the guys who told me about irrigation. I am still doing it, and it works great.

I think there are some changes to my colon where it curves just prior to the stoma. It seems to take longer these days for everything to clear out. I still have to do six infusions which is around a gallon of water, but then nobody ever said I wasn’t full of **it. A couple years ago preparing for a hurricane I picked up two 8 foot plywood boards at a time and carried them over my head. The surgeon said I narrowed the curve a bit from the strain. I’ve not done anything like that since. Instead, I bought thinner boards so I can carry them without a problem.

Anyway, just a quick note to say hi. And to thank OTDave and JimBob and others for the info and help when I decided to try irrigation about four or five years ago. It was the best decision ever.
