urostomy pouch and night time drainage bag
Have a patient with very arthritic hands and she cannot disconnect the night time drainage bag from the urostomy pouch. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone have any ideas for a different connector between the urostomy pouch and the drainage bag? Thank you for your help.

Is the main problem grasping or is it twisting? It might be possible to build up the tube or make an adapted grip using thermoplastic materials.
