Perspiration issues

I’m approaching my first summer after an ileostomy in November of 2019. I’m very physically active, and I note that perspiration is excessive where my undershorts are worn between the stoma pouch and my skin. Can anyone suggest a remedy? Additionally, sweating causes the seal to quickly fail. Would paste or a ring help to avoid having to change the pouch?
