I have had my Colostomy for 15 years. I now find that probably due to age that almost all my discharge is loose or watery.
My question is should I take a fiber supplement or can you suggest another solution.
I normally eat well but even good food like eggs, vegetables, beef and especially any type of gravy or fired or grilled food causes a problem.
I am fairly active with golf and walking. Of course it happens at the worst time and my pouch fills and/or balloons up.
I recently switched from a closed pouch to a drainable pouch.
Would appreciate any helpful hints. Thank you

Re: Medial Question
I've discovered that some foods, like eggs and fish, give me a lot of fluid output unless I also eat some carbs (rice, bread) along with. Not sure if the carbs buffer the digestive response or just help absorb the fluid.
