Has anyone heard from our membership living in areas struck by wildfires, drought & poor air quality? I think of them often & pray this will end soon.

I'm in Northern California. Been crazy here lately, high AQI levels, skies of smoke and ash. I live far enough from the direct fires, but I know people who have lost their homes or been evacuated.

So challenging! Heard from my cousin in N. Calif. Amazing to see the orange background. Air quality poor but he's ok. Waiting to hear from cousin in Oregon but I think she's ok. Another pal in Portland is faring ok but again, air quality, poor. These are such difficult times for so many. Apologies for being away from the board again. Have been VERY busy tending to my mother who's 103 and who has changed. Not the same person 
but I still love her, of course. Have been working with a nutritionist to help in many ways, including inability of my pancreas to absorb fats.GI doc gave me samples of Zenpep, an enzyme -- works great. 
And seeing a PT to help with pain from scar tissue. Still need to exercise more. Hope you all are faring as well as possible!
